Ultra special DRIVE & SOUND this week with the Mercedes-AMG GTS modified by the German company Performmaster (www.performmaster.de) now pumping out a whopping 612 hp and 780 Nm of torque (weight: 1.645 kg). Through a dedicated module, which is connected to the CAN-Bus of the car, they are able to raise the power level in the higher rpms and still maintain an absolutely smooth power curve and delivery. As their system makes sure that all vehicle parameters are ok before the additional power is being set free they also have the possibility to give a 2 year warranty on all parts and don't have any significant impact on engine durability. Overall it doesn't feel like a modified car, but like a true AMG which has 612 hp ;) Next time we are getting a Perfommaster Car we might even check the fact that their cars are not limited on VMAX:) |
