“On which car it is too early to say but we will be launching a specific suspension system, starting with the first models in 2018,” DS product and development boss Eric Apode announced at the launch of the refreshed DS3 in Paris.
DS promises the new suspension will keep the high standards of comfort of the hydropneumatic, self-levelling, and variable ground clearance technology pioneered on the original DS, although it will be focused on modern electronics and won’t feature hydropneumatic technologies. “We think now with the development of electronics, we can do it better,” Apode confirmed. |
