外媒报道
According to a report from The Sunday Times, the former Top Gear trio will be reunited for a new show which will be announced "within weeks."
Jeremy Clarkson has apparently confirmed he will be at the forefront of a new car show alongside his long-time friends James May and Richard Hammond. It is believed the show will begin before the overhauled Top Gear UK will kick off sometime after March next year.
Interestingly, the report also specifies James May will host a new show called “Building Cars Live” on BBC2 together with Kate Humble (from “Springwatch”) and Ant Anstead (from “For the Love of Cars”). This will consists of two 90-minute episodes which will air live (before Top Gear's return) from MINI's factory in Oxford and will show how a car comes to life.
On a related note, BBC apparently asked Jeremy Clarkson to return as Top Gear host a few days before calling Chris Evans, but he refused. However, Evans says there was no such offer from the BBC and Clarkson "said no to the voices inside his head." In addition, the BBC has also denied contacting Clarkson to come back. |
