Tipping the scales at only 850 kg (1,874 lbs), the Dojo Pioneer is actually an electric vehicle with a very small footprint as it is 3520mm long, 1570mm wide and 1490mm tall. It rides on tiny 13-inch wheels and features a 186-liter trunk capacity. Power is provided by a 13.4 bhp (10 kW) electric motor driving the front axle and working together with an obsolete lead-acid battery. A full recharge takes eight hours while using a fast charger for thirty minutes will recharge the battery pack to an 80 percent level.
As far as performances are concerned, the Dojo Pioneer can hit a top speed of 60 km/h (37 mph) and will be able to travel for up to 120 km (75 miles) before running out of juice.
The Dojo Pioneer is available in China where it costs 43,000 yuan (about $7,000) if we take into account the subsidies available for electric vehicles. |
