2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo unveiled with minor changes
Mitsubishi has unveiled the 2015 Lancer Evolution.
While the company acknowledged the model has been "discontinued in many of the other markets around the world," the United States will receive a modestly revised Evo that features a new cup holder and revised side mirrors with integrated turn signals.
The Evo GSR also has a new Premium Package that includes the contents from the Sight and Sound Package as well as heated front seats, leather upholstery, a power sunroof and additional sound deadening material - among other things.
The range-topping Evo MR goes one step further as it gains automatic headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, color-keyed heat extractor vents and additional chrome trim. The model also has a passive entry system, an auto dimming rearview mirror, additional sound deadening material and a nine-speaker Rockford Fosgate audio system.
Both models are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 291 bhp (217 kW) and 300 lb-ft (406 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a five-speed manual or a six-speed Twin-Clutch Sportronic Shift Transmission (TC-SST) and an all-wheel drive system. |
