A Porsche 911 (997) Turbo has been wrecked at the 2013 Gumball 3000.
Following the demise of a Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV and a Ferrari 458 Italia, a Porsche 911 (997) Turbo has met its maker during this year's edition of the Gumball 3000. Car belongs to Team 44 and the accident occurred during the final stages of the rally, en route to the Monte Carlo finish.
A Gumball 3000 participant wrote on Twitter that both driver and passenger part of the Team 44 Porsche have escaped without any injuries. Just like with the two previous crashes, the road was significantly wet which might have caused the driver to lose control of the 997. |
