Nonetheless, S1 development continues as seen in these latest photos of a prototype sporting the signature S-brand quad exhaust pipe layout at the famous Nurburgring Nordschleife in Germany. Furthermore, Audi has already shown us with the exclusive limited edition A1 Quattro that the model is imminent. Latest reports say the S1 will be based on the 256 PS (188 kW / 252 hp) A1 Quattro but feature a detuned 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine delivering 220 PS (162 kW / 217 bhp).
