全新N组拉力赛车the Subaru Impreza N2010

According to Graham Prew, Prodrive sales manager, “The engine and suspension changes make the N2010 far more competitive. On gravel the Impreza is certainly a match for any Super 2000, but it is on tarmac, that the additional engine performance will really come into its own and make the N2010 a competitive alternative to a Super 2000, but at about half the price and with significantly lower running costs.”

More news about Subaru but this time its Prodrive with a new model and it’s their latest Group N rally car, the Subaru Impreza N2010.

To help it rip up world rally stages, the N2010 is equipped with a 2-liter boxer engine with an IHI twin scroll tubocharger (which features a 33m air restrictor), high flow fuel injectors, a motorsport catalyst, and a recalibrated ECU module. These upgrades provide an additional 20bhp, more torque, and improved responsiveness.

In the chassis, handling, and suspension department, the N2010 rides on adjustable Prodrive-Ohlins sport suspension, has strengthened rear cross-members, an FIA compliant rollcage, and high performance AP Racing brakes. And to help the driver get out of sticky situations quickly, the car has been outfitted with a power-assisted ‘quickrack’ steering system. Also fitted is a limited slip (front and rear) differentials, and a electro-mechanical locking center differential.

The N2010 will be priced from £120,000 and is also available for a two year lease.

Prodrive推出全新Impreza N2010 Rally赛车

过去几年,Prodrive拥有过许多客户,这些客户在Le Mans跑过Ferrari(法拉利)、驾驶Aston Martin(阿斯顿马丁)取得过无数的胜利,甚至涉及过Honda(本田)F1赛车。但是很少有客户像Subaru(速霸陆)一样与这个英国赛车专家有着如此紧密的联系,他们一起在世界拉力赛上有过无数次的合作。

遗憾的是,Subaru退出了WRC比赛,但是这并不会阻止Prodrive继续推出Rally版的Impreza,这好像是要证明他们依旧可以推出Impreza的赛车一样。与以量产版车款为基础改造而来的N 组规格赛车类似,Impreza N2010配备了一具2.0升水平对卧涡轮增压引擎,采用了赛车规格的喷油嘴,触媒转化器和ECU调校,让Impreza N2010的马力往上增加了20hp,以及拥有更宽幅的高扭力范围。另外它还配备了可调式Ohlins悬吊、前中后三个差速器,AP Racing制动系统和FIA认证的防滚架。据Prodrive表示,这个套件的性能表现要比Super 2000规格的Rally赛车还强,而且价格只有他们的一半,大约12万英镑(约合台币622万6千834元),另外也提供二年的租约。
