这一消息最早是社交网站Reddit（via Electrek）发布，外媒现在还在努力追查更多的细节。目前我们能获得的就是通过WhatsApp和网上论坛炒作贴或得到这个低分辨率的图像。根据图片粘贴人提供的讯息，汽车在行进中显示"Problems with charging"，从而使司机跑了出来，随车人员都下了车获得安全。现在，特斯拉的唯一的评论是，“We are working with the authorities to establish the facts of the incident and offer our full cooperation. The passengers are all unharmed. They were able to safely exit the vehicle before the incident occurred.”
大意就是：我们正在配合当局的调查，找出事件的真相。乘客都安然无恙。他们能够在发生事故之前安全地离开车辆。
