Sébastien Loeb won the inaugural race of the 2013 European GT season held at Nogaro.
The nine-time WRC champion drove a 2013 McLaren 12C GT3 to the win in the first race of the opening round part of this year's FIA GT Series. The French-based team occupied the front and second rows during the FIA GT Series Qualifying Race and after that Loeb and his partner Alvaro Parente triumphed in the Saturday race.
Sébastien Loeb began the second race from the top spot and maintained his position until he had to make the mandatory pitstop and driver change.
The other 12C GT3 was driven by Mike Parisy and Andreas Zuber which despite the wet conditions were able to climb several positions. However, both cars received driver penalties during the second half of the race and ended up crossing the finish line on 11th and 12th positions.
