It features an aluminum space frame with composite structure underbody panels bonded to aluminum. The "revolutionary" chassis reduces noise and improves torsional rigidity while the performance is granted by the 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine producing 450 hp (336 kW) and 450 lb-ft (609 Nm) of torque, helping the Stingray reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in less than four seconds.
