Completely broken down and reassembled, the vehicle which started life as a 996, has been put back together with a completely new skin. Obviousel, the roof has been chopped down a "few" centimeters and the new outer body made very wide.
But perhaps the most confusing details are found in the headlamps and tailamps along with their corresponding adjacent panels which are units taken from the 997. Don't be fooled, because if you have the patience to check the 200+ photo gallery documneting the entire build, you'll see the vehicle at the first stages of tear down.

Albert Motorsport的技师们将一辆 Porsche 996 GT2双门跑车完全拆光后，再依照996 GT2 R Flat赛车的规格重新组装。996 GT2 R Flat赛车除了拥有降低的车顶与加宽的车身之外，还搭载全新的车体板件。为了营造出更帅气的外型，技师也为996 GT2 R Flat赛车换上 997车款的头、尾灯组。
