Subaru and Cosworth have been working together again. This special edition Cosworth Impreza STI CS400 has been teased round about the same time as Subaru launched this teaser image of a New York-bound 2011 MY Impreza STI.
The pocket-sized CS400 starts selling in June. A highly limited run of only 75 units are being prepared and performance is said to be thrilling.
Official figures confirm maximum power at 294kW (400mhp/ 395bhp/ 400PS) made at 5,750rpm, quite a far cry from the standard (221kW (300mhp/ 296bhp/ 300PS). The sprint time is even more impressive at 3.7 seconds for the 0 - 62mph dash. Top speed was not mentioned. Stopping power is provided by a bespoke brake package consisting of six-pot callipers and 355mm discs at the front. They were developed in collaboration with AP Racing, a company that supplies brake and clutch components to some Formula One teams and others.
A number of other technical changes, including suspension and exhaust upgrades were made. The exterior and interior also experienced modifications. Cosworth打造最强之限量Impreza STI CS400
由英国改装名厂Cosworth打造的最强Subaru（速霸陆）Impreza STI CS400，将在今年六月以限量75台的稀有度在欧洲上市；而这款超强马力的STI顶级版CS400，除了在欧洲地区发行之外，并不会在其它地区销售，包括兵家必争之地的北美市场也将无缘一见。
经过Cosworth调校引擎后的STI CS400，马力直上395hp（400PS），而且0~60mph（60英里约是96公里）加速也只要3.7秒（比起STI足足快上了1秒半），据经验值判断，就算是0~100km/h加速，也定能维持在4秒之内。
除了引擎马力大幅的改良升级外，据Subaru表示，CS400在外观及内装上都会再作部分细节的修改，而且悬吊系统以及排气系统也会同步改良。目前已知的动力改装重点大致如上所示，不过所有内外观细节的照片则尚未释出，Autoblog这边将会持续密切注意的。 gochinway06；） 回复 6# fissa
